| 講演タイトル | "Crosstalk among cytoskeletons during cell migration" ＜要旨＞ Cell migration galvanizes organ development, wound healing, innate immunity and angiogenesis. While cytoskeletons such as actin and microtubules are unquestionably a pivotal molecular player of cell migration, little is known about if and how they are coordinated for execution of efficient migration. To examine a role of microtubule modifications in regulation of actin cytoskeleton, we recently developed an optogenetic tool with which microtubule acetylation can be rapidly induced in living cells. Using this molecular tool, we show that microtubule acetylation stabilizes directional persistence of migrating cells through reorganization of actin-based subcellular organizations. This study reveals the previously uncharacterized molecular crosstalk among the cytoskeletal components. |
